Turkmen Embassies & Consulates abroad issue the tourist visas on the ground of a letter of invitation. Letter of invitation (LOI) is issued by Turkmenistan migration service office at request of Travel agency.
Letter of invitation proceedings take 12-14 days (or the urgent proceedings up to 07 days). The information requirements to start the proceedings:

2. Details of place of work/ position
3. Confirmed itinerary & stay period in the country
4. Hotel category* of your choice

The cost of invitation letter can range & discounts applied, up to the services ordered at Travel Agency.

Having the photocopy of invitation letter, a tourist visa can be issued at Turkmen Embassies and Consulates abroad or upon arrival in Turkmenistan, at border check points ‘Howdan’, ‘Farap’, ‘Dashoguz’, ‘Kunya Urgench’, ‘Turkmenbashy’, or at airport of Ashgabat.
